Mas provides businesses with access to a range of support services, including recruiting suitable apprentices, administrative support and mentoring.

Apprentices are shortlisted for your business depending on their experience level and your business requirements. We also interview candidates for you to make the process as smooth as possible. Candidates could be anyone from a current high school student to someone who is already looking to retrain or change industries, depending on what’s most suitable for you.
Your apprentice has completed their qualification when you, the employer and the training provider all agree that required competencies have been reached. Contact Mas to discuss how to complete your apprentice.
If you sell your business and the new owner agrees to take over employing and training your apprentice, the training contract can continue with the new owner.
As an employer, Mas’ support services are at no cost to you. You will, however, need to pay your apprentice a fair wage that reflects their experience and knowledge. The Fair Work Ombudsman site has a Pay Calculator to help you determine the correct rate of pay for apprentices.
Through the Australian Apprenticeships incentives programme, a range of funding is also available to eligible employers. Payments typically range from $750 to $4,000, dependent on a variety of factors, which Mas will help determine what you’re eligible for.
